senior year has started & so far, the year has been busier than my summer. i have more stuff to do during the school year than during the summer, which really sucks because it's way too much work to do, but at the same time, it's fun & exciting (: haha.
on thursday 9/10, i got home around 2pm, ate ramen noodles, watched tv & waited for jenn to come pick me up. she came at like .. 3ish & then we & her friend went to line up for the abdc taping. the line wasn't as long as expected but it was really hot waiting outside. it was my first time lining up for one of those shows, so i was pretty confused with everything -_- haha. i think we got to go in for our seats at like 6 or something. it was pretty tiring when the show finally started. lots of screaming & clapping. it was fun though (: oh & we had to retape some of the parts. that kinda bugged me, cos it was repeating. wow, it was just crazy. every groups' dance was so good that night. it was sad to see rhythm city leave, but yeah, it's okay i guess. hm, the show ended at 10:30 & alex [i believe that's your name, haha] drove me back by 11pm, exactly! well, maybe a minute late, but still. i told my dad i'd be back by 11pm, ahaha. dang, i was so tired! i knocked out x]
on friday 9/11, afterschool, i went to glendale w/ tina. we were supposed to get job applications but no one was hiring people under 18 years old -_- so lame. we ate at islands, because i was hella craving burgers & fries. we shared half a burger and had 3 trays of endless fries. so good! but they gotta keep track of their seasoning. it was kinda salty, and some of it was really crunchy, and another try would be good, haha. so freaken weird! but it was still good. it was worth it (: we're gonna try to get more trays of endless fries the next time we go. let's see if we could beat our record of 3 trays, ahaha. then later, we walked around the mall for a while, and around americana, then finally left to the bus stop. we got back to L.A. at like 5:30 or 6pm, passed by tina's mom's work place, dropped off her stuff, then we walked around broadway to look for a hair salon that was cheap cos i need a hair cut. unfortunately, it was way too expensive. we looked at shoes at payless, then went to 99cents store. tina bought cookies. i wanted to get those mint chocolate cookies so bad! but i had to save my $10 -_- rawrs. i should go get it when i have time, haha. oh, and we saw a lot of halloween stuff. (: it was cool. then we walked back to my house & tina's mom came to pick her up.
on saturday 9/12, it was the yuca beach clean up! my sister walked with me to the church at 11:30. we didn't leave until 12:30 or something. when we got there, we just ate some snacks while they set up activities for us. we hungout in the water for a little bit. it was so cold! we took pictures (: it was so nice! um, after that, they started the games. i was in group 6 with anne & sam. our group totally won for the second game, with the water & the bucket & the cup, yeeeah LOL. it was fun (: freaken anne poured water all over me, aha. um, the other games were okay. i was bad at the leading, when the other person was blindfolded. we got like .. 2 or 3 penalties for touching -_- haha. then the obstacle course! i did fireman with someone. the girl we carried sucks -_- we told her to sit inside, but she sat on the side and it was hard to carry her up with all this weight on one side T.T stupid girl. oh man, our pyramid was so weird, haha. but we managed to finish in time, yay! so yeah, after that, we ate & talked a little more. took more pictures. some people went in the water again. i forgot to put on sunblock until a while later -_- that's bad. then we did the beach clean up. i partnered up with ellen (: we were pretty good at picking up trash! but we didn't get much, haha. some people even went through bushes, like literally! &of course, we lost at that, haha. um, later they announced the winners & obviously, team 6 won 1st place for the games! :D we got to pick a price in the box & they gave us a pen & corn nuts of our choice. kelly's team won 3rd place, haha. i forgot who won 2nd place. we took pictures with our teams, since we won (: that was fun. oh, then we got ready leave & left at 7:30pm, and got back at 8pm. i waited for a while before walking home though, haha. hm, got back & showered. talked about my day to the family. watched tv, went online, got pictures from jenn, etc. a lot of stuff going on, ahaha. but yeah, went to bed at like 12:30am o.o
on sunday 9/13, woke up around 10am, got ready, & went out with family at 12ish. drove to santa ana, had a vietnamese lunch. it was hella good! i haven't had vietnamese food in so long ;O after lunch, parents took us to get our cell phones. it took a while to pick a phone, cos i was being picky, haha. i was gonna get a samsung, but ended up getting a sony ericson. i got to choose my own phone number, so cool (: it's easy to remember! after we listened to them talk for a little bit, my mom took me next door to get a haircut, since everywhere else that i went to was so expensive for girls hair. they give nice hair cuts (: but the lady that cut my hair was like .. attacking my hair. she was combing all hard and stuff -__- jeez. once i was done, my dad got my phone already. then, we went next door again to buy some snacks & desserts (: after that, we went home. when we got back, i charged my phone, then after about 2 hours, i messed around with it. oh & found out that something was wrong with it, so my dad said he was gonna take it back and exchange it for me. too bad they didn't have silver anymore, so he said he'd get black for me.
on monday 9/14, it was my free day! i loved it. i finally had a day to myself to relax (: too bad i didn't get to use my cellphone yet, haha. anyway, my daddy came home around 7pm & then i charged my new black sony ericson phone. it was cool. i liked messing around with the stuff, haha. the colors, ringtones & etc. i think i was playing with my phone all night. then i finally got tired & went to bed AHAHA. x]
on tuesday 9/15, today, i had to go to the doctor's /: got another shot. that freaken sucks. oh, when i got off the bus, i met up with jenn half way to broadway, then we walked back to my house. hungout at my place for a while, mom & sister came home, then we left and dropped jenn off at the corner, and we left for the doctor's. i gained 2 lbs -_- after our shots, we left to jack in the box for some food. oh yum<3 i was so hungry! then we went home. i washed dishes, ate, watched tv, then played with cellphones again. (: my lil sister got her cellphone today. my cellphone was bugging me all day. it was being all retarted x.x it makes me wanna get a new phone. but anyway, today, i found a lot of interesting stuff with my phone, haha. hm, we were gonna watch death note, cos i borrowed it from tina, but we got caught up with cellphone stuff, so we forgot about it aha. oh, i uploaded songs & photos to my phone too. hm, now we're watching tv again, lmao. i want clam chowder for some reason. or tomato soup. what a weird craving. or some jamba juice! or frozen yogurt, or ice cream! i think i'ma eat the last nectarine in the fridge later (: my mom finished the last piece of watermelon ;O aha.
tomorrow 9/16, i have my white studios senior portrait appointment @ 3:50pm. my dad's gonna take me when i get home from school tomorrow. i hope it turns out okay. -_- oh & there's an interact club meeting @ lunch time. i wanna go to the events coming up. i'm excited for it (:
on thursday 9/17, i have yuca @ 4:30pm. hopefully i remember to go. it's the first meeting of the school year, haha. oh & i'll have to give jenn back her camera after we do all that recording at school on wednesday. hopefully we remember to do that o.o
on friday 9/18, i'll finally be back to my free day schedule :D i've had such a crazy week. but it's been fun so far, so no complaints (: ah, i have an in-class essay for english this morning /: then in 2nd period, i have a social contract project due -_- i still haven't decided if i'm working alone or with a group/partner. and i think we have a seniors' meeting @ 10:30am on this day too.
hm, i'm starting to like my classes, since i got to change them. this is my new schedule for termAB:
1st period - english - ms. conant.
2nd period - government - mrs. revel.
3rd period - service T.A. - ms. masterton.
i'm T.A. for her 9th grade english class. it was funny how one of the guys in there remembered me as his T.A. & he saw me in line during lunch & he was like "HEY, YOU'RE OUR T.A.!" ahahaha. i thought that was funny. x]
it's a good start for the new school year. i'm enjoying it. not much drama so far, which is good. i like it (: oh, alina's birthday is next week on a saturday. i think she's having a little get-together at her house again. yay, finally turning 17! (: haha. then the next day is sandy's birthday! yay, finally turning 16! ahaha. then the next day, we have no school :D what an exciting month (:
